THE BUSINESS MODEL
3R subscribes to the idea that most organisations pursue a natural
development curve as they grow.
A small company – when it starts its operations – will
first focus on people skills. As the business grows, issues that
require numbers and detail-orientated issues take a more prominent
role. Having gone through those two areas of development, the business
is then equipped to focus on strategic questions.
More importantly, companies – especially when they become
larger – need to go back and refocus on the people skills
on a frequent basis.
SUCCESS FACTORS
3R is destined to succeed through:
• following a common principle (Research, Rethink, Realise)
in every consulting process, and at the same time
offering structured, yet creative and
tailor-made solutions.
• an innovative and creative business model that embraces
South African Reality.
• the founder’s set of skills and experience as well
as her European contacts.
• offering a new perspective to South African business

People-Orientation
• “Once upon a time ... telling fairy tales for inspirational
leadership” –
published in “Convergence”
Edition JFC 7.4
ABSTRACT: Storytelling with fairy tales might have an enormous
power to help create a South African Leadership style that is inspirational.
Firstly, fairy tales of all traditions speak of a common, universal
humanity and therefore lend themselves to identifying common grounds.
Secondly, fairy tales assist in overcoming fear, because they offer
a “magical place” that is not real. And there (still)
seems to be a lot of fear in South Africa... fear of letting go,
fear of changing, and fear of valuing differences and of exploring
commonalities.
